  • What You'll Need

    The following guidelines will help make your application quick and easy. Start by collecting your child's information, noted below:


    Your student’s birth certificate and social security card

    Two proofs of residency - (a signed lease or current utility bill)

    Proof of guardianship (driver’s license or court documentation)

    Your child's vaccination records

    Prepare these documents for upload before starting your application. The school will not process an application until it receives all required student documents.

    Complete the guided step-by-step online application.

  • What is a "magnet school?"

    A magnet school is a free, public school of choice that offers a specialized curriculum or theme designed to attract students from diverse areas and backgrounds. Magnet schools are part of the larger public school system. 

  • What does it cost for a student to attend?

    We are a free public school.

  • Who can enroll?

    We are a free public school for students in 6/7/8th grades. To find your attendance zone school based on your address, click here:

  • How can I send the required documents?

    You can take pictures of your documents on your phone and send them to Student Registration using at SRO@LRSD.org.

  • We just moved to the area. How do I enroll my child?

    You can enroll for the 2025-2026 school year online. Click on any START APPLICATION HERE button to begin. You can also come to the Student Registration Office to enroll.


    If you move in the middle of the school year, students may remain at their assigned school for the remainder of the current school year with NO TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED BY THE DISTRICT. Students will be assigned to the neighborhood (attendance zone) school for the upcoming school year.  If a student was alternately assigned, they will be AUTOMATICALLY ASSIGNED to the neighborhood (attendance zone) school for the upcoming school year.

  • What is a "TNT" transfer?

    Transfer No Transportation (TNT) requests are NOT accepted for magnet schools.
